BRITOP Lighting was created out of the desire to provide people with the positive energy that is offered by lighting. Its foundations are: love for the best possible designs, the great commitment of people – led by the owner, Christian Ortlieb, and the President of the Management Board, Monika Sopałowicz – and, above all, the desire for constant improvement. We brought it to life because we know that each of us wants our home to be a place that reflects our personality and brings comfort, regardless of whether it is a luxurious mansion or a traditional flat.

This is why we are constantly expanding our portfolio to be able to match the tastes of our customers as closely as possible. However, we are always guided by our main principle: we want to exceed our limitations every day to give our customers what they deserve – individualised design along with the highest quality and functionality of the products that we offer.

It concerns not only the area of lamp creation, but also our labour policy, environmental issues, promotion standards, customer service and relations with business partners.

When the young entrepreneur Christian Ortlieb started his business activity in 1990s in his first company producing lighting, he could not have known that his childhood dream was just about to come true.
As a nine-year-old boy and a DIY enthusiast, he created his first lamp as a gift for his mum, and today he manufactures thousands of lamps in one of the most modern lighting factories in Europe.

BRITOP Lighting is located in Bierawa in southern Poland, and its products are delivered to 54 countries around the world. All our products meet the highest European quality standards. Currently, our company produces about 5000 models manufactured under the own brand of BRITOP as well as OEM brands in line with the tastes and needs of particular customers and countries.

Nowadays company delivers products of the Group, also our sister’s brand SPOT Light, to than 50 countries all over the world. 6,200 sqm of warehouse space, 9,200 pallet places, 2,500 sqm of production space, 1,600 sqm of office and social space are data which provide professional customer service and sales service at the highest level. Partnership and long-term cooperation is our highest value.

Certification in the FSC system, which we have under number FSC-C129231, confirms our credibility in the field of legal origin of wood used in the production of lighting products.

Forests are a great land capital and it is the duty of every human being to care for the forest resources of our planet – for our health, for us and for future generations.

FSC prohibits illegal logging, forest degradation and deforestation of certified areas – in fact, through certification we contribute to the protection of forest ecosystems and thus to reducing the impact of climate change.
