Founded in Belgium in 1934, OSTA is an authentic manufacturer of pure wool and synthetic fiber rugs. Our name is established by nearly 90 years of excellence and masterful experience in the weaving industry. We weave to order and keep a portion of our collection in stock to meet the demand for quick deliveries. The highly skilled in-house design team aspires to reinvent and refine the designs of today and tomorrow. Every day, our professional sales team gives its best and goes above and beyond to meet the wishes of our customers. INNOVATION AND DESIGN

For almost 90 years, we have specialized in high-level Belgian design and innovation. Our in-house team of highly skilled designers is led by Creative Director Maghalie Dooms, whose creative vision is inspired by the world. She believes that each designer has his or her own style, which contributes to making our designs unique. The design studio is located in the heart of the showroom. It is equipped with a wide variety of materials, colors and yarns, as well as an extensive library to draw inspiration from. Every day, the team strives to reinvent and refine the designs of today and tomorrow.

KNOW-HOW AND INNOVATION

Our weaving mill is located in Avelgem, just a few minutes from Oudenaarde, the historical heart of tapestry weaving in Flanders. We take great pride in preserving the art of weaving and keeping this remarkable heritage alive. We create products with innovative, durable and high quality textures, ranging from sophisticated Jacquard to high-end wilton rugs. We use our expertise to create luxurious long pile carpets, elegant structured pile and looped carpets (known as Brussels weave), and even complex high performance carpets. For the production of our carpets, high quality raw materials are carefully selected, ranging from natural fibers such as virgin wool or cotton to recycled polyester. OSTA attaches great importance to in-house know-how. Close collaboration between our designers and experienced weavers ensures continuous innovation and leads us to create the unexpected.

RECYCLING AND ECOLOGY

Sustainability is a value we hold dear. Our solar panels provide some of our electricity. The rest of our energy needs are purchased from an energy supplier who guarantees the origin of the energy from entirely renewable sources (wind and solar energy). Our textile waste, paper, cardboard, plastic, pallets, cartridges, batteries and many others are recycled.
