Per Bo is a certified Ceramicist and a certified Potter, which supports creating beautiful and well-made pieces of tableware. With years of experience and education, Per Bo has fine-tuned his skills of production to make pieces by the hundreds.

For the last 15 years Per Bo have supported restaurants with tableware and sold his art in a variety of shops.

The feedback from direct customers and the close collaboration with restaurants is used as input in an ever ongoing creative process of creating new shapes and new visual expressions.

Working with Per Bo starts with a discussion of the restaurant’s vision and style. Then exploring if any combination of existing designs and colors can be used, recombined, or adjusted. If completely new pieces are needed, prototypes will be made in collaboration.

When discussing design, the use of the individual pieces of tableware is important, to decide durability, sturdiness, and often ergonomics is also factor. A restaurant has many moving pieces and for a smooth operation tableware has to be sturdy and not just beautiful. In other cases, where elegance and thinness is key, it is to be expected that the pieces are more fragile.
