Design

Born from meetings with professionals of the gastronomy, Patrick Sarran’s furniture are reliable companions on stage. The designer designed them to facilitate and magnify the gestures that make a service a show.

In close consultation with cooks, sommeliers, maîtres d’hôtel, waiters, cheese makers, pastry chefs, he created these beautiful and practical pieces for restaurants.

Designers didn’t pay much attention to the problem of tables in restaurants. Yet, as Chef Michel Sarran pointed out, the daily setting up of tables posed serious practical problems, especially for the round tables that symbolize conviviality for the guests. Patrick Sarran provided an answer with this original system based on trays and snap-on legs, which is light, robust, space-saving and effortless.

My products meet very specific needs: they are ergonomic, solid, functional and customisable items of contemporary design made to render service.

Quiso is the designer of a collection of hand-crafted professional furniture

As a craftsmen and designer, I create, design and manufacture high-quality products either singly or in very limited series. Quiso arose from a meeting with Chefs at the International Gastronomy Salon held in Toulouse in 2007.

Each item is designed to meet specific needs expressed by professionals, and to each one I bring my creativity, design ideas and know-how.
