In 1984, Jean-Rémy Bergounhe started manufacturing slatted bed bases in Millau (12). In 1985, he opened a workshop in Rodez (12) and hired his first employee.

Little by little, the SOCOFAL – TECHNILAT company develops and specializes in medium-high-end bedding. It now has more than 90 employees and achieves an annual turnover of more than 21 million euros.

Technilat is one of the main players in medium-high-end bedding in France.

Since the creation of the company in 1984 our objective is to meet the triple requirement “Health, Comfort, Technology”

Every year 50,000 mattresses, 30,000 box springs and 8,000 headboards are manufactured in our two production units based near Rodez, in the south west of France.

Anchored in our society, we are committed to working and developing bedding that respects the environment. The proof is our ISO 14001 certification.

Our Belle Literie Excellence, CTB Literie labels, and of course the loyalty of our customers over these decades demonstrate the seriousness and quality of our bedding.
