Who we are
Driven by a shared passion for reinventing the world of smartphone accessories, Olivier Vergnet and Christophe Pereira founded Xoopar in 2008, a Franco-Hong Kong company that places great emphasis on product quality to deliver on a promise: to offer a simple, intuitive and fun user experience.
Xoopar has gradually expanded its product range to offer a more complete technological experience to its customers, always with a playful positioning to stand out in a rather bleak tech sector. All products are uniquely designed to be both functional and elegant. One of Xoopar’s proudest achievements is the launch, in September 2019, of the first cable with a sustainable vocation: the Mr Bio.
In 2019, Xoopar committed itself to a sustainability approach. This continuous progress-oriented approach is a central element rooted in the brand’s identity and reflects its commitment to more conscientious production of its carbon footprint.
Today, it is proud to share the victories it has achieved on its journey towards improvement:
- Use of recycled materials
- Reduction
- French marking and storage
- Shipping
Our goals for 2025:
- GRS certification for all our products
- Carbon footprint for our entire catalog
- Single-material products
- A collection of Made in France products
Over the years, Xoopar has responded to the ever-changing needs of users. The company has developed products compatible with the latest smartphones and tablets on the market. In 2019, the company’s desire to reduce its carbon footprint led it to embark on a sustainability initiative.
Since 2020, the company has been committed to importing its products by boat, which is 80 times less impactful in terms of CO2 emissions compared to air transport.
Xoopar has also implemented measures to reduce its carbon footprint by using recycled materials and optimizing its production chain to limit waste.
Xoopar’s growing commitment to sustainability and its constant drive for improvement have led it to seek innovative alternatives for the manufacture of its products by turning to the use of recycled materials.
With this in mind, the company has adjusted its plastic collection, with a view to obtaining GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification from mid-2023.
This certification not only attests to the recycled content of products, but also verifies the company’s compliance with environmental and social criteria.
More recently, the brand has integrated leather into a more elegant range of products in collaboration with Recyc’Leather, a company specialized in the manufacture of recycled synderme and leather fibers, which are obtained through the recovery of leather scraps destined to be thrown away. In 2024, she presents a new collection, made from the only 100% recyclable material: aluminum, for which she will also receive GRS certification.
