Advantages Colagem Beige

100% Wool

Exceptional texture

Bold and balanced patterns

The piece Colagem, the fruit of Noël Marinho’s creative genius, captures the very essence of his deep artistic exploration through collage, mixing shapes and colors with mastery. Woven in beige wool, this rug is inspired by the designer’s world, where his experiments on paper are transformed into captivating works, and Colagem stands as a proud expression of this art. Brilliantly employing the technique of collage to develop unique tiled patterns, Marinho demonstrates the adaptability and visual strength of his work, both on wall panels and in paving compositions.

Made from premium wool, the rich texture and exceptional softness of the Colagem rug invite tactile discovery. Its beige shade brings understated elegance and flexibility, allowing this work of art to blend into a variety of interior color palettes, enriching every living space with a touch of warmth and refinement. The meticulous choice of wool also guarantees remarkable longevity, positioning this rug not only as a work of art but also as a lasting investment.

Every detail of this rug is the result of a careful creative process, where the artist manages to transcribe the essence of his collage explorations into a textile medium. The resulting patterns are bold and balanced, creating an enriching visual experience that sparks the imagination and enhances the domestic space. To maintain its timeless beauty, regular maintenance by gentle vacuuming is recommended, as well as periodic professional cleaning to maintain its luster and texture.

Matter 100% Wool

Wool rugs impress with their comfort, resistance and ease of maintenance. The wools used for carpets are stiff and resistant to crushing. Handmade tufted or woven wool rugs, as well as knotted, provide excellent color retention. They combine visual comfort, acoustic comfort by absorbing noise in the velvet, and living comfort by playing a role as a hygrometric regulator. The wool’s scale fiber prevents dirt from becoming embedded and promotes cleaning. At a carpet cleaning specialist, it will be washed with a mild detergent using plenty of water. However, regular maintenance with a brushless vacuum cleaner and occasional stain removal with bed base soil will only allow this cleaning to be carried out every 3 to 4 years.

Hand Tufted

The drawing is printed on a canvas, stretched over a frame. The threads are stitched into this canvas by a gun, either manual or electric, to form the velvet. This velvet is shaved, inspected. The backrest is glued with latex to maintain the velvet, then protected by canvas or mesh. It takes approximately 3 days to tuft a rug, then 3 days for latexing and drying and finally 4 to 5 days for all the finishing touches.
