Standard and Bar Height Design Elmar Table
Similar to all our furniture, the solid walnut Elmar table is customizable in dimensions and wood types. 100% designed and crafted in our own cabinetmaking workshop in Franche-Comté, this design table is a reinterpretation of the traditional solid oak table. Typically, solid wood tables have a tabletop that overhangs the base to allow the tabletop to « breathe. » With this table, the phenomenon is reversed, and the tabletop works not outward when expanding or contracting but inward, thanks to the expansion joint in its middle. Our artisans exclusively select PEFC-certified wood to provide you with impeccable furniture quality. Feel free to contact us by email or phone for any other requests.

Exceptional Natural Finish
Our furniture is treated only with natural oil to showcase the beauty of the wood. The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its properties. It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the air to ensure a healthy and pleasant ambient climate. Our cabinetmakers perform the final sanding and oil application by hand for perfect finishing quality and touch. The oil we use complies with the EN 71-3 toy safety standard for children.
PEFC Certified Local Wood
The wood used in Delavelle furniture comes from forests located just 2 km from our workshop. We obtained the PEFC label in 2012 (Pan European Forest Certification), a guarantee for the consumer that the processed wood comes from sustainably managed forests. We are regularly audited by an independent organization.
- License number: PEFC/10-32-2633.
- Control chain number: QUAL/12-716.
Preserved Environment
The eco-design approach allows us to minimize the impact of the product on the surrounding environment:
- Stackable furniture: optimization of transport and reduction of carbon footprint.
- Wood from local forests: a renewable and recyclable resource.
- Repairable furniture: natural wood can be sanded and restored.
- Use of a mono-material: facilitates recyclability at the end of life.
Indoor Air Quality
We select natural materials for the manufacturing of our furniture:
- Decrease in indoor air pollution.
- Absence of hazardous substances.
- Reduction of VOC emissions (volatile organic compounds).
- Wood glue without formaldehyde.
- Finish with natural vegetable oils (EN 71-3 standard for child safety).

The oiled wooden surfaces of Delavelle furniture are very easy to maintain:
