Consideration for our nature
With the aim of minimising our environmental impact, the Apertus collection is crafted without any man-made fibres. Extra focus on materials means the majority of rugs are made from undyed wool and all cotton used is certified organic. The rugs are skilfully handcrafted in India by local artisans, using ancient traditions to produce our timeless and enduring Scandinavian designs. All rugs fulfil REACH criteria and feature the Care & Fair label, with many also awarded the OEKO-TEX® certification. In the Apertus collection, the materials are laid bare in an attempt to stay as close as possible to nature, enhancing the rugs’ authentic expression and natural beauty.
