Alternative range - paper cards

Paper cards are ideal for short-term use (from a few hours to a few days) or when little handling is required. They are: thick, crease-resistant, high-quality thanks to their premium feel and brilliant whiteness, and can be written on by hand.

They offer high-quality, low-cost black monochrome printing for the following applications:

• Price labels for packaged goods.
• Luggage tags.
• Event cards.
• Loyalty cards.
• Gift cards.

Evolis High Trust® paper cards are an alternative to PVC cards for companies wishing to reduce their plastic consumption. High quality, they are adapted to specific uses. Evolis recommends the use of paper cards for short-term identification needs (e.g. at trade fairs or for visitor badges), or for cards that will be handled infrequently (loyalty cards, gift cards) when colour personalisation is not required.

Environmentally-friendly cards:

Paper is a natural, renewable material from sustainably managed forests. Our cards are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. Evolis paper cards are made from cellulose fibres (wood fibres) and contain no added plastic. A controlled carbon footprint: the paper used for our cards is manufactured in France, less than 500 km from where the cards are made. At the end of their life, the paper cards
also meet the EN 14995 compostability standard. Paper is biodegradable in nature within a few months, and the recycling process is well developed.

Functional cards:

Tested and validated by the Evolis R&D and Quality departments, our paper cards offer a very high quality rendering. Evolis paper cards comply with ISO CR-80 (ISO 7810) standards.

Recommendations for use: Paper cards should not be used in excessively humid environments (RH 50% macimum).

To use BLACKFLEX ribbon with Edikio Flex, Edikio Access and Badgy solutions, it is necessary to update the driver and firmware.

Storage information

Cards can be used for up to 2 years after purchase, provided they are stored in a cool, dry environment and their original packaging is not opened. The storage temperature should be around 23°C (73°F) and the relative humidity around 50%. After opening, avoid dust, direct sunlight, humidity and high temperatures.
