What are Gangway and Muster Control Systems ?
Gangway Control System provides real-time status reports of who is onboard and ashore, as required by the ISPS regulations for passenger and merchant vessels. You can interface Gangway Control with any crew management system. Reports are accessed via the vessel’s internet network, and shoreside offices can monitor the vessel’s status.
Muster Control System uses LAN-based or wireless scanners for registration and real-time tracking of muster stations during safety drills and emergencies. The scanner has the complete list of all crew and guests on board with picture ID (optional), room number, and muster station number. Each person’s ID card or RFID carrier is scanned. Multiple muster station scanners can be connected to the vessel’s network and are synchronized using Microsoft Active Sync. Reports show who has attended mustering and who did not attend.
