First thought as a bedside table – a nightstand – that stays by ones bed and sleeps with one when the night comes, the known-to-everyone lyrics come instantly to mind. Taking a step further, Stand by me stands by itself and can stand by one in any room.
Shaped by a twisted juxtaposition of two independent drawers one above the other, the side table conveys an idea of movement and of unexpected free-form geometry. Yet Stand by me does not spin and is strongly anchored on its elegant pink copper round metal feet. One definitely can rely on it.
