Adaptability to Various Interiors

Inspired by the iconic T37 Tressée chair, the This product from TOLIX combines durability and elegance. It was in 1948 that Tolix founder Xavier Pauchard imagined a braided pattern in Steel, which he decided to use on the seat of the timeless T37 Chair created for the 1937 Paris Universal Exhibition. The lightness of the geometric lines and the finesse of the weave contrast with the durability and purity of Steel. The same braiding is used on it : Micro-perforation creates a delicate, airy pattern.

A testament to craftsmanship, its delicately woven Tray top is carefully hemmed by hand, revealing the softness of its curves. Made of sturdy Steel, it is distinguished by its durability, lending itself elegantly to both sophisticated interiors and outdoor spaces.

It perpetuates the heritage of excellence in French industrial design. It follows in the footsteps of the brand’s timeless masterpieces. Created by the skilful hands of the craftsmen in the Tolix workshops, this piece testifies to the perfect mastery of materials and the art of metallurgy.

It is much more than a piece of furniture, it’s a living testimony to the TOLIX heritage. It studio creations are a tribute to the past, a bridge between eras, a testament to the perseverance of authentic craftsmanship in an increasingly automated world.
