Advantages Walnut Elmar Table
Light design
100% Handcrafted
Robustness and durability
The eco-design table Elmar in solid walnut is 100% artisanally crafted in our own workshop in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. The tabletop is profiled to reveal only a third of its thickness, providing lightness to the design while benefiting from the robustness and durability of a thick solid walnut top. The simplicity of the design allows this table to easily integrate into both contemporary and more classical architectures. Our woodworking shop has been committed to the PEFC approach since 2012. The forests in our region offer a diversity of wood species and incredible tree quality.

It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the surrounding air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant environment. The final sanding and oil application are done entirely by hand, ensuring impeccable quality and touch. The oil used complies with the EN 71-3 toy safety standard for children.
PEFC Certified Local Wood
The eco-responsible wood used for this walnut Elmar table comes from local forests and is PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). Our workshop is also PEFC certified, guaranteeing sustainably managed forests. Our supplies are regularly checked by an independent organization.

Preserved Environment
We adopt an eco-design approach to minimize the product’s impact on the environment.
Some of our furniture is stackable to optimize transport and reduce carbon footprint. Wood comes from local forests, a renewable and recyclable resource. Each piece is repairable; natural wood can be sanded and restored. The use of a single material facilitates recyclability at the end of its life. Wood scraps from manufacturing are maximally valorized or used as fuel for our workshop’s heating as a last resort.
Indoor Air Quality
Our furniture is made with carefully selected natural materials.
- Reduced indoor air pollution.
- No hazardous substances.
- Lower VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions.
- Formaldehyde-free wood glue.
- Wood finish with natural vegetable oils (EN 71-3 toy safety standard for children).
