Her professional career began in the United States, where she worked in the heavy industry sector. On her return to France, she worked in the fashion sector as a sales representative for large-scale exports. She then applied for a job at the Bristol Paris hotel and discovered the life of a Parisian palace. She integrated the well-being and lifestyle dimension and worked with Anne Sémonin who finally hired her as sales manager and entrusted her with the launch of the first flagship in Bangkok.
In 2004, Aldina was hired by Accor to set up the very first Spa strategy and orchestrate its deployment, which was then targeted at the resort. She was then in charge of repositioning the SOFITEL brand, adding a new holistic dimension and signing “French beauty” with an offbeat approach, the famous French Touch in the world of skincare and sports. Aldina then expanded the well-being dimension of the Luxury and Premium brand portfolio on an international scale thanks to a synergy of talents both in the regions and at headquarters.
Aldina’s personal mission is the democratisation of wellness and in this respect, she is the French Ambassador of the World Wellness Day as well as the Ambassador of the Bleu-Blanc-Cœur Association.

WHAT MAKES YOU GET UP IN THE MORNING?

I love the energy of the morning, everything is calm, everything is possible. I get up before the alarm clock (!) and do a little body stretching routine, I finish the shower with a cold water jet, I do some facial yoga movements to wake up the tissues.
What makes me have this beautiful energy is that each new day is a new opportunity to meet, to progress, to choose.

 

WHAT DID 2020 TAUGHT YOU?

That the greatest ambitions must begin with the greatest humility.
2020 has taught me to let go and make choices. I took the time to work on myself in a sincere and caring way. I chose myself and made my health and well-being my priority.


YOUR NEXT BIG CHALLENGE?

Getting back to work in the post-covid era is a huge challenge. We may have a strong, dynamic and motivating strategy, but we will have to (re)test it and adapt it. Everything has to be re-invented. I am by nature agile and I hope that I will be able to rise to the occasion. Today, we have increasingly strong expectations in terms of well-being, which obviously go well beyond spa treatments. For the past 3 years we have been observing requests for “wellness destinations” on an international scale. Obviously, covid has accelerated the demand and expectations. We are ready.
Fortunately, we have been anticipating and measuring this shift and reflection for nearly 8 years with a strategy that has been applied to our entire brand platform in a transversal manner around 4 strong axes such as “sleep”, “nutrition”, “sport” and “care”. Today, we have added the ‘mindfulness’ dimension and the ‘digital’ experience. This toolbox allows us to do tailor-made projects anywhere in the world.

WHAT IDEAS / EXPERIENCES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOUR PEERS?

I have been campaigning for years for well-being accessible to all. As such, I am involved with two associations and I am a Global Wellness Day France Ambassador. My role is to coordinate free activities in France. The next event is scheduled for June 11th, 2022. We are looking for partners (institutions, cosmetic brands, places, coaches, practitioners). The Accor group is also strongly mobilised for this day that we celebrate all over the world on the first Saturday of June.

This year we have received precious media and institutional support such as a press release from INSERM and the KUNZ Foundation, and the faithful support of Dr Alexandra Dalu, Clémence Peix Lavallée, Psychologist, the Tigre Yoga Club, and Lisa Lasbleis, coach of the Fusion workout method, for the worldwide livestream. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER PROJECTS IN MIND?

As of this September, I have plans to organise solidarity workshops/events in my spare time. I am partnering with inspiring places and I offer face yoga and yin yoga classes on a voluntary basis for charities every quarter. I also offer these classes twice a month in my company, for my colleagues, as part of the Quality of Life at Work programme.
