A LONG STORY

Founded on 10 December 1950, Animo has a long history. Founder L. Scheepstra started selling coffee machines and related accessories on a small scale in a small shop in Amersfoort, following a rapid expansion in the Netherlands.

In 1962, a second factory was opened in Assen, in order to be able to continue to produce a wide range of machines for a growing number of customers in more and more countries. The first orders from Germany arrived.

Today we are active in more than 70 countries.

Our machines produce a wide variety of hot drinks for every moment of the day: freshly ground espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato or tea, smooth chocolate and instant soups.

We supply machines for company meetings as well as coffee machines for installation in a factory.

Our extensive customer base of professional users, both at home and abroad, includes government agencies, local authorities, maritime organisations, hotels, cafeterias and offices.
