EASY, a entirely removable sofa

The EASY sofa can be entirely removed in a few seconds with a simple zip thanks to its individual covers. In an eco-design approach, the individual covers allows you to change the cover you need without having to remove everything.

The covers are also machine washable at 40°.

A high-end and recycled fabric

Woven by design house Gabriel, founded in 1851 in Denmark, EASY’s textile is made of polyester recycled from plastic bottles (at a rate of 75 to 98% depending on the fabric). The textile boasts the “OEKO-TEX 100” label, a very demanding international standard in terms of respect for the health of the user and the environment, as well as the “EU Ecolabel”, the European reference for eco-designed products.

Unlike most sofas where the use of glue and staples makes the materials virtually inseparable, EASY is a model of recyclability: each element can easily be disassembled at the end of its life (steel, foam, textile) to be recycled.

Durable and easy to maintain

Like all TIPTOE objects, the EASY sofa has been designed to last in terms of solidity, choice of materials and ease of maintenance.

The fabrics from the Danish company Gabriel boast an exceptional resistance to abrasion and friction (the “Martindale” method which measures the resistance of fabrics shows a score of 60,000 to 100,000 for the EASY sofa, or 6 to 10 times greater than the required standard of 10,000).

The EASY cushions can have all their coverings removed and are machine washable for ease of care, year after year.

The EASY individual sofa covers are sold individually and are available in several colours. Different types of covers are available :

Manufacture & Materials

This product is 100% made in Europe.

The weaving of the textile and the manufacturing of the covers is done in Lithuania. The fabric is made by prestigious design firm Gabriel, founded in Denmark, in 1851. Depending on the fabric, EASY coverings are made of 75% to 98% recycled textile, derived from used bottles.

Care instructions

The cushions and seat of the EASY sofa are removable and machine washable at 40°C. The fabric can be steamed but is not ironable.
