Design and Modern Bar Stool

The Wak bar stool in solid oak captivates with its clean design as well as its qualities: it is lightweight, stackable, comfortable, and durable. This tall stool is offered with a customized seat height to adapt to the height of your island, kitchen, bar, or table. Its curved seat and 4 footrest crossbars allow seating on all 4 sides for great flexibility of use and convivial moments. The design, wood, and craftsmanship of this stool make it a remarkably high-quality and durable piece of furniture. It is handcrafted from wood cutting to finishing by a cabinetmaker in our workshop located in Saulnot (70 – Bourgogne Franche-Comté) in the east of France. The wood used comes from locally managed and eco-certified PEFC sustainable forests. This stool is the result of a strong eco-design approach: ecological manufacturing, renewable and eco-certified materials (wood and oil), formaldehyde-free glue, long lifespan, easily repairable, available spare parts, and recyclable materials; everything is done to minimize the impact on the environment.

Exceptional natural finish

This solid oak Wak stool is treated only with natural oil, displaying all the beauty of natural oak. The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties. It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the surrounding air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant environment. The final sanding and oil application are done entirely by hand, ensuring impeccable finishing quality and touch. The oil used complies with the EN 71-3 toy safety standard for children.

PEFC Wood from the Region

The oak used for this Wak stool comes from local forests and is PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). Our workshop is also PEFC certified. This guarantees that the processed wood comes from sustainably managed forests. Our supplies are regularly checked by an independent organization.

Maintenance

Maintaining this solid oak Wak stool is very simple and easy:

• Daily cleaning: with a sponge or damp cloth.
• Occasional maintenance: apply care oil with a cloth.
• In case of scratches: sand and apply care oil.
