This PilPil bar stool in solid oak captivates with its contemporary, sleek design and remarkable craftsmanship. Practical and made-to-measure, the tall stool is repairable and stackable, hence its name « PilPil, » which reflects its perfect stacking ability. Like all our furniture, it is 100% made in France and crafted in our workshop in Saulnot, Burgundy Franche-Comté. You can choose the custom seat height that suits your worktop, bar, or kitchen island. As with our entire production, this stool is eco-designed, with great care taken to reduce its environmental impact: the wood is local and PEFC eco-certified, the glue is formaldehyde-free, the oil is natural and guaranteed VOC-free (volatile organic compound), and, above all, it is durable. It is also available in walnut, beech, and black oak and can be customized on request with other wood species: chestnut, beech, maple, etc.

• Total height with backrest: seat height + 12 cm
• Solid oak structure section 60 x 22 mm
• Assembly by mortise and tenon joints and glued dowels
• Seat and backrest in 100% oak plywood throughout the thickness

PEFC wood from the country

The oak used for this PilPil stool comes from local forests and is PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). Our workshop is also PEFC certified. This guarantees that the worked wood comes from sustainably managed forests. Our supplies are regularly controlled by an independent organization.

Preserved environment

Ecodesign is a preventive approach that minimizes the product’s impact on the environment:

• Stackable: optimization of transport and reduction of carbon footprint.
• Local wood: renewable and recyclable resource. Repairable: natural wood can be sanded and restored.
• Mono-material: facilitates recyclability at the end of life.

Indoor air quality

Our furniture is made with selected natural materials:

Decrease indoor air pollution. Absence of hazardous substances. Reduction of VOC emissions (volatile organic compounds). Formaldehyde-free wood glue. Finish with natural vegetable oils (EN 71-3 standard for child safety).

Maintenance

Maintaining this PilPil oak stool is very simple and easy:

• Daily cleaning: with a sponge or damp cloth.
• Occasional maintenance: apply care oil with a cloth.
• In case of scratches: sand and apply care oil.
