This solid walnut bar stool captivates with its contemporary, simple, and refined design, as well as its practical qualities: it is comfortable, lightweight, and stackable (hence its name « PilPil »). Its eco-design and natural, Scandinavian-inspired style will seamlessly integrate into both a contemporary kitchen and a more classic interior. 100% made in France, this PilPil counter stool is entirely crafted by hand with local wood in our workshop located in Franche-Comté. You choose the custom seat height: 30 cm below your table, bar, or kitchen island. The design, selected wood, quality craftsmanship, and finishes are exclusive. The enveloping backrest and the flexibility of the seat ensure optimal comfort. Eco-design is our focus; we work with solid wood, a natural and easily renewable and repairable material. To ensure sustainable harvesting, we only select PEFC-certified wood, ensuring that the wood used comes from sustainably managed forests.

Exceptional natural finish

This stool is finished with natural oil, displaying all the beauty of natural walnut. The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties. It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the ambient air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant surrounding climate. The final sanding and oil application are done entirely by hand, ensuring impeccable finishing quality and touch. The oil used complies with the EN 71-3 toy standard for child safety.

PEFC country wood

The walnut used for this PilPil stool comes from local forests and is PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). Our workshop is also PEFC certified.
This ensures that the worked woods come from sustainably managed forests. Our supplies are regularly checked by an independent organization.

Maintenance

Maintaining this PilPil walnut stool is very simple and easy:

• Daily cleaning: with a sponge or damp cloth.
• Occasional maintenance: apply care oil with a cloth.
• In case of scratches: sand and apply care oil.
