This small MiniPil solid oak stool is sturdy, lightweight, and stackable! 100% made in France like all Delavelle furniture, this stool is designed and crafted by our artisans in our workshop located in Burgundy Franche-Comté, in eastern France, using locally sourced PEFC eco-certified wood. Customizable, you can choose its seat height from 30 to 57 cm to the nearest centimeter to match the height of your table, kitchen, or furniture. This stool is also available in black-stained oak and walnut, but can also be custom-made with another type of local wood such as chestnut, beech, maple, ash, walnut, or other.

Characteristics

  • Solid oak structure 60 x 22 mm.
  • Total height with backrest: seat height + 12 cm.
  • Assembly with mortise and tenon joints and glued dowels.
  • Seat and backrest in 100% oak plywood throughout the thickness.
  • Formaldehyde-free wood glue (non-toxic VOC). Locally sourced wood certified PEFC.
  • Finish with light natural oils (varnish on request).
  • Delivered assembled and packaged in cardboard.
  • Designer: Hugo Delavelle 2010/2019.

Choice of seat height from 30 to 57 cm:

  • Seat height = table height – 30 cm.
  • For a table height of 80 cm: seat height 50 cm.
  • For a table height of 75 cm: seat height 45 cm.
  • For a table height of 70 cm: seat height 40 cm.

Exceptional natural finish

This MiniPil oak stool is treated only with natural oil, displaying the beauty of natural oak. The wood remains free of harmful substances and retains all its excellent properties. It breathes, absorbs moisture, and gradually releases it into the ambient air, ensuring a healthy and pleasant environment. The final sanding and oil application are done entirely by hand, ensuring impeccable finishing and touch. The oil used complies with the toy standard EN 71-3 for children’s safety.

PEFC wood from the country

The oak used for this MiniPil stool comes from local forests and is PEFC certified (Pan European Forest Certification). Our workshop is also PEFC certified. This guarantees that the processed wood comes from sustainably managed forests. Our wood supplies are regularly checked by an independent organization.

Maintenance

The maintenance of this MiniPil oak stool is very simple and easy:

  • Daily cleaning: with a damp sponge or cloth.
  • Occasional maintenance: apply care oil with a cloth.
  • In case of scratches: sand and apply care oil.
