Advantages SL 60-HSW

Thermally insulated

High-quality aluminium profiles

Extremely smooth running panels

Implement flexible shop concepts

The thermally insulated sl 60-hsw horizontal sliding wall has a thermal transmission coefficient of 1.51 w/m²k thanks to its high-quality aluminium profiles. As a result, it can be used to create flexible, energy-saving shop concepts for indoor and outdoor use. The innovative opening mechanism and zero-threshold running and track technology offer limitless creative freedom and ensure that the panels are easy to move to their parking positions. Special-alloy carriages with sealed bearings guarantee extremely smooth running for the panels – perfect for daily use.

Implement flexible spatial concepts

In public spaces, as a shop entrance, in a hotel or as a partition – wherever you use them, horizontal sliding walls save space and ensure compliance with the exacting requirements of the german energy savings ordinance (enev).

Complex ground plans possible

Segmentation no problem at all

The sl 60-hsw is suitable for use in a wide range of projects. Whether you require segmentation of a swing panel with an automatic door closer, the patent-pending opening mechanism guarantees easy unlocking and panel movement.
Gain new space

Make use of existing areas

The sl 60-hsw is also perfect for use as an indoor partition. The individual elements can be parked in hidden niches so that your room can be divided or opened up again quickly.

Characteristics

Profile system

  • Thermally insulated aluminium profile system with fibreglass-reinforced polyamide thermal breaks
  • Panels suspended from running track using two carriages; each panel can be moved and locked in place separately
  • Panels can be locked in place and released from the inside by turning the flat, stainless steel solarlux designer handles 180° ı
  • Panels guided into junctions
  • Running track available with additional facing battens
  • Variety of floor tracks available, all compliant with german standard din 18 040 on “accessible construction”
  • Adjustable floor sockets available
  • Die-cast, thermally insulated corner pieces for sturdy panel profile joints

Sight lines

  • Frame : 2 – 115 mm
  • Panel : 60 mm
  • Panel joint : 131 mm
  • Running track building depth : 65/80 mm
  • Panel building depth : 59 mm

Sealing system

  • Double horizontal brush seals with flexible plastic baulk at top and bottom
  • Epdm seals with two sealing levels in vertical panel joint glazing
  • Suitable for use with glass thicknesses of 5 – 40 mm
  • Dry glazing

Design variants

  • Turn-and-slide panels suitable for use at many points in the horizontal sliding wall
  • Swing panel suitable for use on side frame
  • Swing and turn-and-slide panels can open inwards or outwards; range of locks and handles available
  • Panel parking area can be positioned anywhere within the system
  • Segmented ground plans possible

Fittings

  • The carriages have sealed bearings and low-noise, low-wear, low-maintenance sintered bronze bearing surfaces with a lubricant sintered into them to ensure that they run smoothly.
  • Fittings partly concealed in profiles
  • When the flat, stainless steel, designer solarlux handles are turned 180°, the panels lock into the floor track/socket using bolts with plastic end caps, and at the same time a “bolt-and-chamber” system joins them together
  • Adjustable floor track locking points
  • Full lock available for lock-in-place mechanism
  • Espagnolette with stroke of 24 mm
  • Solid stainless steel solarlux designer handles

Environment
